July 4th in Port Orford

We started the day by walking into town and going to the Rotary Club for a fund raiser pancake breakfast. It was actually a pretty good breakfast, and we enjoyed visiting with some friendly locals.

Then, since we had 30 min to kill before the parade started, we walked around town to see the sites.
Anthony thought the parade was okay, but I was a little disappointed. I thought it lacked the fun & funky character of other small town parades I've seen. I had more fun watching kids and dogs. :-)
